Capture the technical and version-control reality safely.

First: ask your builder for the technical handoff

Copy this prompt into the AI tool that built your app.

If the project was created in more than one AI session, run this prompt in each relevant session and paste the results together below. It asks whether you have usable GitHub or backup history—the signal that explains why a bug fix can disappear in the next AI rewrite. Read the generated output before you submit it.

Generate a one-page technical handoff document for a new developer joining this project. Report every language/framework, the database and whether files are stored in it, every category of user data stored, access control (RLS/security rules, server- vs client-side auth), any secrets in client code or committed to the repo, version control status, payment processing, hosting/deploy, what's built vs. stubbed, and third-party integrations. Do NOT include the app's unique concept, business model, or anything proprietary. End with two labeled lines exactly like this: "App summary: " and "Usage scale: ".

No source code needed. Please do not paste secrets, customer records, private keys, or proprietary product details.
